Bugis walk-about.

Finally completed most of the assignments, I could finally find time to go to town area! Since chilli pumpkin and I had a 1-for-1 seafood harvest voucher that could be used, we decided to go to Bugis!

This place is actually a franchise of Jack's place. More "fish" than steaks... nonetheless, i still went ahead and tried the sirloin steak.

Chilli pumpkin, however decides to try the crayfish and steak combo! *Oooo... huge appetite..*

*A pose for the camera* before we start eating...

After eating and shopping... we decided to go to the bugis eatry alley for some desserts before we go home... here's "Ah Chew desserts". Do try it out if you haven't been there before. The desserts were splendid!
The main imperial entrance. (happen to sit next to the table... and just shot it)

Another pose for the camera!

Okay! Time to stop snapping and start eating! Honeydew Sago was great! Maybe you might find it weird but try it with chocolate ice-cream!
Yummy! Slurp!

2 books to recommend.

Been feeling very stressed about my workload... decided to read some books to relieve stress.
Chanced upon these two of these books and found them to be interesting.

Matthew Reily : The seven ancient wonders & the six sacred stones.

Thrilling adventure stories.
Fast paced.
Highly recommends to those who love 'indiana jones' adventures.

Here's the sypnosis of the seven ancient wonders.

"A legend of the ancient world decress that every 4500 years, a terrible solar event will wreak worldwide destruction... but whoever sets teh Golden Capstone atop the GreatPyramid at Giza will avert disaster and gain the ultimate prize: a millenium of world dominance..."

And here's the sypnosis for the six sacred stones:

"A mysterious ceremony in a hidden location has unlocked a catastrophic countdown to Armageddon. Now, eighteen months after his heroic bid to save humanity from an ancient curse, supersoldier Jack West Jr. and his loyal team of adventures must find and rebuild a legendary device known as "The Machine". The clues to their mission can be found in the fabled Six Sacred Stones, but the team must go on a wild race around the globe to find the relics... even as the deadliest ememies they've ever encountered threaten them at every turn...."

Remember to read the first book before the 2nd one... as they are interwined...
Enjoy.
